让英语阅读课堂鲜活起来

[摘要]文本解读是阅读教学的重要环节,阅读教学的高度取决于文本解读的深度。在阅读活动中,师生要力求深入挖掘文本,真正实现与文本的对话,与作者心灵的交流。本文从初中英语文本解读现状出发,探索大胆预测、整体感悟、推断逻辑、探寻中心、入手文化、揣摩情感等文本解读策略,以此提高学生的文本解读能力,让英语阅读课堂鲜活起来。

当今的英语阅读教学面临着新形势,新常态,英语阅读篇幅越来越长,阅读量越来越大,对阅读技巧和能力的要求也日趋提高,以往只注重词汇、知识点、语法的阅读教学方式已不能适应英语教学的新常态。文本不只是语言和语法的简单结合,文本包含作者的写作意图、情感态度、思路结构,同时蕴藏着文本的篇章段落结构、句群关系、逻辑关系。阅读能力的提高固然离不开词汇、句型、语法等基础语言知识,但更需要有效的文本解题策略的合理运用。
一、初中英语文本解读现状
在日常英语阅读教学活动中,过去很长一段时间基本上都采用了Scanning-Skimming-Details或者fast reading-Careful reading等教学程序,教师缺乏对文本的解读,设计的问题只侧重于文字信息,只是读懂阅读文本的浅层次的词句。在文本阅读过程中,Reading for information, Reading for language points, 获取的只是语言和知识。阅读大致都停留在字词句和语法规则,学生无法深入真实的语言情境中,对文章缺乏体验和感受。对作者的写作意图、语言特点、写作风格、情感态 ……(快文网http://www.fanwy.cn省略1162字,正式会员可完整阅读)……

But when they hear that everyone thinks they are dead, they feel very sorry, … Everyone is surprised to see them at first, but very pleased to find that they are alive. Happy和sorry, surprised和pleased形成的对比,这是favourite的关键所在,让这故事段落更加富有曲折婉转,充满魅力。同时在这一段落中一连串的they和them的正确解读,有效达到整体感悟与体验favourite这一文本的线索。
3.推断逻辑
对一些篇幅较长的文本或段落,教师要注重指导学生如何化繁为简,充分解读文本的逻辑关系,包括段落之间的关系与句群之间的关系。查找文本当中的连接词、过渡句。
外研社九上Module 10 unit 2 The game that they like most is Australian football.第二段进行文本解读时候They also grow grapes and other fruits. They love all sports, but the game that they like most is Australian football. Because most Australians live near the coast, they also love going to the beach for swimming and surfing or just lying in the sun.,让学生思考Why the game they like most is Australian football?学生在思考这一问题时,就需要判断句子之间的逻辑关系,按照连接词Because可以断定前后两个句子之间的因果关系,答案Because most Australians live near the coast就轻而易举的解决了。
4.探寻中心
所谓中心,是指篇章中能够概括文本主要内容的中心句,或者句子当中的关键词(key words)。在文本解读的过程中围绕中心句、关键词(key words)来展开解读,可以让解读过程围绕文本离中心,提高文本解读的效率和准确性。
